Veterans Fundraiser Golf Tournament Set For Jackrabbit Run
Grand Island, Neb. — Golfing for a cause is nothing new, but a mid-September golf tournament is shifting its focus to helping local veterans.
Jackrabbit Run Golf Course is hosting a 4-person scramble at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 15 to benefit the Business Coalition For Veterans. The cost to register a team of four is $400, but includes 18-holes of golf with a cart, complementary range balls, two free drinks and a lunch banquet following the round. There will also be a hole-in-one prize offered from Roe Buick on the 7th Hole.
You can sign up a four-person team for the tournament online or by calling the Jackrabbit Run Golf Shop at (308) 385-5340. If you’re unable to golf, but would still like to donate, there are a variety of options.
You can adopt a veteran by visiting the sign up link above, and you can also become a hole sponsor for a one-time fee of $200.
