U-Save Pharmacy Earns Sweep of Aurora
The Grand Island U-Save Pharmacy swept Aurora Saturday 6-1 and 19-13.
Keegan Inks tossed a complete game five hitter in the opener while striking out six. Emilio Romero went 1-1 with two RBI and a run scored to pace U-Save. Landon Hansen and Tate Bendorf each had two hits for Aurora.
The two teams combined to scored 18 runs in the third inning of the second game and were tied at 12. Grand Island plated six in the fifth. The two teams agreed to end the game with Aurora out of available pitchers.
Josiah Gilbert pitched two innings for the win for U-Save and had two hits. Brody Meyer went 3-3, tripled, doubled knocked in two and scored three times. Inks and Tyron Ray also had two hits.
Jace Dorsey, Lukas Fry, and Sawyer Kiner each had multiple hit games for Aurora.

U-Save hosts North Platte for a 2pm double header on Tuesday at Ryder Park.
