Key Message #1:
- Although it will be a windy day AREA-WIDE, an official High Wind Warning continues through 7 PM for mainly southern/southwestern counties in our coverage area (most likely to see gusts as high as 50-60 MPH)
Key Message #2:
- Although relative humidity (RH) values will be slightly too high today to justify a formal Red Flag Warning for wildfire danger, solidly elevated fire weather conditions will prevail this afternoon especially in north central KS where RH will be lower compared to Nebraska.
