St Paul boys headed to Lincoln after downing LVSS
(Albion, NE) - The St Paul boys basketball team punched it's ticket to the C1 state boys basketball tournament Monday night with a 52-44 victory over Logan View Scribner Snyder in Albion at Boone Central high school. The two teams were deadlocked at 20-20 at the end of the first half. The Wildcats would lead after three quarters by just two points, 31-29. St Paul was lead by Jaxson Klinginsmith with 16 points, Andy Poss 15, and Tommy Wroblewski with 12. With the victory St Paul advances to state for the second straight season. Last year the Cats lost to Adams Central in the first round by a score of 65-42. This will be the 15th trip to state in school history for St Paul who will enter the state tournament with a 23-2 record.
