Spuds Spoil Comeback
Another hard fought close call ended in a loss for the Hastings Sodbusters. Casper won its 20th game in a row, 12-8 in 10 innings. The Spuds jumped to a 3-0 lead. Hastings responded to take a 5-3 advantage and led 5-4 after seven. Casper rallied for three in the 8th. Hastings scored two in the ninth and had the winning run at third with one out, but couldn't close it out. The Spuds scored five in the 10th to secure the win. Game three of the series is at 6:35 tonight at Duncan Field. Jack Borgman had three hits. Ryan Jarvis and Bryce Ronken each tripled for the Sodbuster.
