
Passenger Injured Jumping Out Of Vehicle Driven By Impaired Driver

Yesterday evening a medical call was dispatched to Fonner Park Rd and Stuhr Rd of a male on the side of the road with blood on his
face.
The GIFD was on the scene and rendered aide to the injured male who was later identified as a passenger in the vehicle driven by Joshua Moran.
Joshua was contacted and appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance and would perform Standardized field sobriety tests and showed gross
impairment.
Joshua would provide a passing breath sample and admit to ingesting cannabis and THC products prior to operating the vehicle.
An on-scene investigation determined that the passenger voluntarily jumped out of the moving vehicle.
The injured passenger would be transported to CHI ST. Francis and deemed to have suffered a serious head injury that required him to be life flighted to an Omaha hospital.
Due to this incident being investigated as non-collision involving a motor vehicle being operated by an impaired driver, Joshua was criminally charged with DUI Drugs Causing Serious Bodily Injury.
