Northwest Volleyball at Kearney Tuesday Night

(Lincoln, NE) - The Northwest volleyball team traveled to Lincoln on Saturday to kick off their season. The Vikings went 2-2 on the day with wins against Bellevue East and Lincoln Southeast. The Viking's two loses came to Platte County, Missouri and Gretna East. The Griffins of Gretna East defeated Northwest last fall in the district final to end the Northwest state tournament appearance streak at 22 straight years. 

Northwest def. Bellevue East, 25-18, 18-25, 25-15 (2-1)

Northwest def. Lincoln Southeast, 25-15, 25-19 (2-0)

Gretna East def. Northwest, 25-21, 25-17 (2-0)

Platte County, MO def. Northwest, 25-17, 24-26, 25-22 (2-1)
