Northwest Vikings Wrap Up Season At State Wrestling

(Omaha, NE) - The Northwest Vikings wrapped up the state wrestling tournament in Omaha on Wednesday night. The Vikings will come home with two state medalists. Emma Harb finished in 6th place. She also wrapped up her wrestling career for the Vikings as a winner of 103 total matches, a three-time state qualifier, and a two-time medalist. Freshman Gracie Simmons finished in 5th place at 190 in her first-ever wrestling experience. 

Other participants for the Vikings included Gracie Huggins (110), Kylee Coates (135), Ellie Smidt (145), and Megan Boyd (170). Full results can be seen below. 

Boys state wrestling tournament will start on Thursday, Feb. 20th, and run through Saturday, Feb. 22nd.
