Northwest Set To Say Goodbye with Cow Pie Craps Event
(Grand Island, NE) - Northwest Public Schools will host a Cow Pie Craps fundraising event on Monday, May 16th at Northwest High School's Viking Field. Below are details about the event. Generated funds from the event will go towards the Viking Field (Athletic Complex) Renovation and Addition project. Last week the Northwest School Board approved a $1.63 million portion of the project to move forward with installing the lights and field turf. Fundraising efforts continue to cover the cost of bleacher, press box, concrete, fencing, and the addition of a field house to be added at a later date.
Monday, May 16th - 6:30pm Number Selection - 7:00pm Cow Walk
A grid will be drawn with 100 squares on the current grass football field.
Secure your square with a $500 cash or check. If the dealer, a one-year-old Charolais Heifer named Cookie chooses your square for her COW PIE, you win.
You could win up to $1,000.
After the heifer picks out the winner she will then be auctioned off.
