Lippincott Elected Chair of the Nebraska Legislature's Rules Committee

DAY ONE WRAP BELOW
District 34 Senator Loren Lippincott of Central City was selected over Wendy DeBoer as chairman of the Rules Committee for the 2025 Nebraska Legislative Session. Lippincott is entering his third year in the Unicameral.  John Arch of LaVista will again server as Speaker. 

Most of the committee chair positions were unopposed. The only drama came in the Retirement  Systems Committee. After a 24-24 tie in the first vote, Beau Ballard edged Danielle Conrad 25-23 in the second vote.
