Grand Island boys golf finishes 2nd at district meet

(Grand Island, NE) - The Grand Island boys golf team finished runner up on Monday at Riverside Golf Course hosting the Class A District 2 meet. Elkhorn South finished on top in the team standings at 295. Grand Island 2nd with a 320. Also qualifying for state was Fremont, who finished third with a team score of 329. Andrew Whittaker took the top individual crown with a 70. Top finishers for Grand Island were Prestin Vilai and Marcus Holling each shooting a 79.
