Grand Island Area Farmers Market Is Going Strong & Looking For More Customers to Shop Local

Grand Island, Nebraska – The Grand Island Area Farmers Market has been going strong since June 1st with our 10th market of the season happening this Saturday, August 3rd from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. This Saturday there will be a bounce house & FREE shaved ice from Kona Ice from 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. courtesy of Ken’s Appliance. The market is held every week and is in the north parking lot of Bosselman Enterprises Corporate Campus, 1607 South Locust Street.

The GIAFM has 80 vendors signed up for its inaugural season with around 40 vendors on average each week. Local produce, cut flowers, handmade and homemade items, food trucks & more are at the market each week.
