GICC Basketball Heads To Ord

(Ord, NE) - The Central Catholic Crusader basketball teams will travel to Ord on Thursday, December 21st. The Crusader girls are coming into the matchup with a 5-1 record. GICC suffered its first loss of the season on December 15th falling at Lincoln Christian 74-42. GICC rattled off five straight wins to start the season defeating Norfolk Catholic, Omaha Gross, Scotus, Duchesne, and Centura. The Ord girls enter Thursday's matchup with a record of 3-3. 

The GICC boys are right at .500 entering the game vs the Chanticleers at 3-3. Last weekend the Crusaders went 1-1. On December 15th winning at Lincoln Christian 46-34 then turned around and fell in a close battle vs Central City 47-43 at Hastings College. The other two wins for GICC are against Norfolk Catholic 42-41 in the opening game of the season. On December 8th GICC won at Scotus 37-18.
