Offense: Sexual Assault Victim: 10 year old female & 13 year old female Incident #: L24060361
Offender: Yasin Budul

Location of Incident: Within City Limits

Brief Narrative: On 6-5-2024 at around 12:23 pm, officer made contact with an adult female and her juvenile daughter reference a sexual assault incident. The 10 year old juvenile female victim disclosed that while staying with a friend overnight, the friend's father sexually assaulted the 10 year old juvenile female victim, while she was sleeping. The suspect was identified as Yasin Budul, a 35 year old male. During the investigation officers were also advised that one of Budul's daughters disclosed a sexual assault when she was 10 years old. At this time Yasin is being charged with two counts of Sexual Assault Of A Child 1st Degree 28-319.01 ClassIB FO, and Incest 28-703 Class IIA FO. Yasin was contacted and later booked into Hall County Corrections. At this time the investigation is ongoing.

Date and Time of Incident: between 5/30/24 & 5/31/24
Location of Incident: 412 Cherokee Ave
Brief Narrative: A Grand Island resident reported known persons entered their residence by breaking a lock. Multiple items of clothing, jewelry, and electronics were then stolen, totaling $6,100 of loss. This case is currently under investigation.

Victim: 65 year old female & 67 year old male Incident #: L24060521
Date and Time of Incident: 6/6/24 @ 18:31
Location of Incident: 404 E 17th St
Brief Narrative: On 6/6/2024 at approximately 1831 hours, Officers were dispatched to 404 E 17th St. reference a Fraud. Officer arrived on scene and were advised by the victim that an unidentified male pretending to be an Amazon employee deceived the victim into withdrawing $18,000.00 cash and exchanging the money into Bitcoin. The digital currency was then transferred to the unidentified male.
