Offense: Burglary
Victim: 48 yr old female Incident #: L24080031
Offender: Wayne Christensen & Raven Work
Date and Time of Incident: 10:08 am 8/1/24
Location of Incident: 929 S Greenwich St
Brief Narrative: Victim called 911 to report her daughter and an unknown male were inside her residence while she is out of state in Minnesota. Victim advised that her daughter was removed and was living with her biological father. Victim has a camera that faces the front door and observed them on camera this morning. Maintenance staff contacted both subjects, who stated they had permission to be inside. Both subjects were located inside the residence and a ladder that was used to enter the second floor window was located upstairs. While searching the upstairs area of where the offenders slept, two bottles of alcohol was found among the property. Both offenders are under the age of twenty one and were arrested for Burglary and MIP Alcohol. Male offender also had a wallet that contained another person's ID. Offense: Tampering with a Witness

Brief Narrative: Suspect in Sexual Assault case made comments to a third party about contacting victim and telling her not to testify and to drop the charges. Charge added to suspect as he is currently incarcerated in HCDC. Tampering with a Witness 28-919/ Class II FO
Offense: Attempted Burglary
Victim: 40 yr old female Incident #: L24080059
Date and Time of Incident: 4:46 pm 8/1/24
Location of Incident: 116 W 15th St
Brief Narrative: On 8/1/2024 at approximately 1646 hours, Officers were dispatched to 116 W 15th St. reference an attempted burglary. Upon arrival, I met with the owner of the residence who advised that over the night, someone had attempted to gain entry into the vacant home. In the attempt to gain entry into the residence, the suspect(s) had damaged an entry door to the garage estimated at approximately $300. The suspects also damaged a window on the west side of the home estimated at $500. According to the owner, access inside the home and garage were not successful and they did not believe anything was taken from inside. Case is still under investigation. Brief Narrative: Reporting party reported a suspect to cash two stolen checks at Sanchez Plaza, totaling $3,050.00. One of the stolen checks still remained in the store and was seized. Case is still under investigation. Theft by Deception 28-512(B)/ Class IV FO
