Offender: Edward Trotter

Location of Incident: 300 N Broadwell
Brief Narrative: On 07/26/2024, Investigators with the Drug Task Force served a search warrant at 305 N. Broadwell Ave. Investigators located approximately 50 fentanyl pills, 1.5 pills of Hydrocodone and approximately $600 in US Currency behind the counter under the cash register. Edward Trotter is the know owner of the business and present during the search warrant. Investigators also located approximately 4 pounds of suspected Marijuana pending lab tests. Edward Trotter was arrested for Possession with Intent to Distribute, Possess Money During Drug Transaction and Possession of Controlled Substance.

Offense: Shoplifting

Offender: Jamison Giddings
Date and Time of Incident: 7/27/24 @ 12:39
Location of Incident: 515 S Webb Rd
Brief Narrative: On 7-272-2024 at around 12:39 pm, officer responded to the listed above location reference a shoplifting in progress. The officer was advised that the male suspect, Jamison Giddings, selecting multiple items from the shelf and walking past the point of sale through the alarm system, and out the entry/exit doors. Jamison fled the area on foot, before dropping the items and continuing to flee from the area. Officer was able to locate Jamison in a field and took him into custody. Jamison was found to have multiple prior convictions for theft and no ties to the community. Jamison was arrested for Shoplifting.

Victim: 30 year old male Incident #: L24072852
Date and Time of Incident: 7/28/24 @ 00:50
Location of Incident: 316 E 2nd St
Brief Narrative: On July 27, 2024, officers were dispatched to the report of a disturbance at 316 E 2nd St, Ay Mi Madre Nightclub. On scene it was found an individual had been assaulted including being hit with a glass bottle, causing a large laceration. Investigation is on-going.

Offense: Motor Vehicle Theft
Victim: 78 year old female Incident #: L24072912
Date and Time of Incident: 7/28/24 @ 20:45
Location of Incident: 3928 Reuting Rd
Brief Narrative: On 07/28/2024 at 2105 hours officers responded to 3928 Reuting Rd. for a reported vehicle theft. On scene, contact was made with a female who relayed that someone stole her red 1998 GMC Sierra 1500 after it was parked in her driveway from 2045-2205 hours with the keys left in the ignition. The vehicle was later located behind the residence after the suspect returned it.
