Brief Narrative: Reporting party reported the boiler room at Centennial Towers was entered after hours and numerous tools were taken from an employee and the maintenance office. Case is open.

Brief Narrative: On 02/23/25 at 0007 officers conducted a traffic stop on a black Dodge pickup for several traffic violations. The driver who was identified using a Mexican Driver’s License as an individual and was placed under arrest after he failed to comply after exiting his vehicle. He was placed under arrest and booked into the Hall County Jail. While the offender was in jail he was properly identified as Carlos Sanchez-Rodriguez who was arrested for the following charges:
-No Operators License (6-484 Class III Misd.).
-Disobey Traffic Control Device (60-6,119 Inf.),
-Stop Sign Violation (60-6,148 Inf.),
-Fail To Stay in Lane (60-6,139(1) Inf.),
-Fail To Use Turn Signal (60-6,161 (1) Inf.),
-Obstruction (28-906 Class I Misd.),
-DUI 1st (60-6,196 Class W Misd.),
-PBT Refusal (60-6,197.04 Class IV Misd.),
-Chemical Test Refusal (60-6,197 Class W Misd.),
-Criminal Impersonation (28-638 Class IV Fel.),

Brief Narrative: A female reported she witnessed her adult brother sexually assault her four year old niece. Case is open.

Location of Incident: 1600 S Locust St
Brief Narrative: On 2/22/2025 at 2322 hours, GIPD Officers were dispatched to Texas T-Bone, 1600 S Locust St regarding a vehicle theft. The reporting party reported that while the vehicle was being warmed up, an unknown person took the vehicle. The vehicle was not located, and the vehicle was entered as stolen. The silver 2019 Chevrolet Malibu is valued at $13,000. Case is open.

Location of Incident: 831 Bronze Rd
Brief Narrative: On 02/23/25 Officers responded to 831 Bronze Rd; HUSKER STORAGE Unit 1020 reference a burglary. Upon arrival Officers contacted the victim who advised construction equipment was stolen from their storage unit. The victim valued the items at $2,100. Case is under investigation.

Location of Incident: W 1st St & N Locust St
Brief Narrative: Officers responded to the area of 1st St and Locust St in reference to a hit and run accident. The victim reported being struck by a small yellow SUV while crossing the street in the crosswalk. The victim stated the vehicle continued on after hitting him without stopping to render aid. Victim reported pain in his left foot but no injuries were visible.
