Fire Damages Hastings Home

Hastings Fire & Rescue responded to a structure fire at 7:13 p.m., on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at 1203 Park St. No. 25, in the K&K Plaza Manufactured Home Park. The home was unoccupied at the time of the fire, which was reported by a neighbor. Three residents are displaced.
The cause of the fire and condition of the structure are under investigation. No other structures were damaged.
Hastings Fire & Rescue crews responded to other calls in Hastings that came during the fire response as well.
The Hastings Police Department, Hastings Utility Department, Hastings Rural Fire Department and Juniata Volunteer Fire Department responded to the 2-alarm fire as well.
The home did not have working smoke or carbon monoxide alarms.
