Basketball: Four Wins In A Row/Northwest Girls Down Ogallala


(Grand Island, NE) - On Tuesday night the Northwest girls won their fourth game in a row defeating the Ogallala Indians 45-38. The Vikings led early 8-5 after the end of the first quarter. Northwest was up 4 at the halftime break 17-13. Ogallala (6-2) would then gain the lead after three quarters 31-26. Shortly into the fourth quarter, Northwest would get back into the game with an Anna Keller three-pointer followed by a Daveigha Heikes weakside rebound put back. Northwest is now 5-3 on the season and will be back in action on Friday, December 22nd traveling to 6-1 Broken Bow. The Indians claimed win six on Tuesday night defeating Hershey 63-39.
